With the holidays fast approaching it’s very easy to let the stress build up into a manic frenzy which usually results in less time for listening to and searching for new music. This is bad. Fortunately the advances of technology (Internet shopping) has made me a little more prepared this year which means……more music! This is good.
And so the result of my searching today brought this little number from Glimpse. He has returned to Hypercolour with an excellent E.P that really showcases his talents as a producer. For me the pick of the bunch was Oafish. It just has all the right ingredients including a chunky bottom end, a hooky vocal and most importantly a serious groove.
Huge respect to Hypercolour and what they are doing as a label at the moment. Quality house music is ever present and they seem to be really pushing forward and growing. Was great to see them in XL8R8′s top ten labels of 2012. Much deserved!
Check out Oafish below.

Arjun Vagale delivers yet another BOMB! We first posted about Arjun last month after his track “Lets Go” really caught our attention. This remix for Victor Calderone on his label Waveform Recordings follows on from “Lets Go” perfectly. The track has a constant pulsing low end that would really work a crowd into a frenzy and the groove is very tight. All of the elements in the track just sit in the right place working together to produce a very solid slice of peak time techno.
We are not surprised Victor employed Arjun’s remix skills for the latest release on his label. The label has had some very solid releases this year including a huge remix from NOYZ favourites The Junkies. The track that Arjun has remixed is actually an original track by the label boss himself and is a huge track in its own right which you can check out here. The package will be available on Beatport on December 18th.
Check out Arjun’s remix below.
We are looking forward to interviewing Arjun soon and can’t wait to hear what he has planned for the future. Of course we hope it involves plenty more tracks of this calibre!
With this calibre of music going through his label every few weeks it is no surprise that Kareem is more than capable of making tracks on this kind of tip to rock the dance floor. Recently releasing on The Junkies‘ label Local Music with a track called ‘Metric Crown’ gives you an incite into Kareem’s intentions towards the future… I see more big Techno BOMBS on the horizon!
Carlo Lio‘s Rawthentic has released a six track addition to the already successful Raw Exposed compilation series. Raw Exposed 4 houses some of the newest, freshest Techno I have heard recently. Tracks from the likes of Bjorn Wolf, Josh Butler, and Deltano. However it is this one from Kareem that really hits home for us here at NOYZ. I am positive you will agree!

Who better to get you feeling more Underground than the unstoppable force that is, Nicole Moudaber!
Nigerian born Nicole delivers tracks that always pack a punch and drive people crazy with their hypnotic sound and relentless energy. Nicole’s releases have been pushed out by the likes of 8 Sided Dice Recordings, Kling Klong, and Waveform Recordings all of which have helped her become one of the most recognised and respected DJ/Producers of the new generation. Her tracks have been supported by Techno royalty such as Richie Hawtin, Carl Cox, and John Digweed. We managed to catch Nicole earlier this year in Ibiza for CarlCox at Space. If you haven’t seen Nicole play live I urge you to do so! ALWAYS energetic and ALWAYS bringing the party to the people!!
For the track we are supplying you with today Nicole has been allowed to REALLY get loose! Drumcode is a label renowned for letting their artists really push common boundaries and release unique and weighty sounding Techno. Here she has taken her patented dirty, playful sound and dropped it in the middle of industrial Techno WARFARE! Checkout her chunky drums, her butt shuffling bass, and that certain something that only Nicole knows how to create!

For some reason I woke before my alarm and I couldn’t figure out why?… Well turns out it was to find this little beaut!
Sabb‘s style is one that is respected by DJs and loved by fans. His remixes seriously demonstrate this, you can see how he turns solid tracks into straight underground BANGERS!! Sabb’s real name, Sabri Kastrati was born in Prishtina, Kosovo’s largest city. A guy that has natural rhythm and energy in his blood and, being only 25 years young, a long production road ahead. If you browse through Sabb’s back catalogue you will find that he can create sounds all over the underground house spectrum, from House and Tech-House, to Deep-House and Techno. Yes you guessed it, personally we love his dark, tribal, drum ridden vibes. He has seen his releases out on such labels as 303Lovers, Great Stuff Recordings, and his own SK Supreme Records. Remixing for the likes of Carlo Lio, Gary Beck, and Hector Couto of late will get big praise from a lot of people, especially us here at NOYZ.
The track supplied today is out on Definitive Recordings, it is Sabb’s remix of Paul Strive’s ‘Century Falls’. Vocal licks, thick drums, natural swing, and stomping low end is the perfect package to get any of you shuffling in your seat!
We get just a little excited when we see a new release from The Junkies record label Local Music Group. Why is that? Well take a listen to the back catalogue that is full of straight up BOMBS and you will understand.
The latest release on the label is the second instalment of the Strange Neighbours compilation series. We supported many of the tracks from Volume 1 of the series which was released last July and so we knew what to expect from Volume 2. To say it has delivered would be an understatement. Its a compilation full of forward thinking techno that packs a serious punch. The tracks all have a serious groove to them whilst retaining that flowing energy that seems to be present across the majority of the releases on the label.
Whilst all tracks stand up we really felt this little gem from Spanish producer Fer BR stood out. We have been very impressed with Fer BR. After following his releases throughout the year we could hear his sound developing and then his E.P release on our favourite Frenchman Ron Costa‘s Potobolo Records in October really stepped things up a gear. This track for Local titled “Welcome To Rawland” follows on from his Potobolo release perfectly and has left us eager to hear what else is in store from this young producer. Its a solid slice of Techno just how we love it, groovy, skippy, dark, you know the drill!
Anyway enough chat, onto the music.
The full compilation will be released on December 10th and you can check out the other tracks on the Local Music Group Soundcloud page by clicking here.
After an amazing night of Techno and Tech-House at TR M NL last night thanks to Pirupa and friends I was ignited to find a killer track that resonated with my inner raver!!!!… Well, here it is…
Pig&Dan aka Igor Tchkotoua and Dan Duncan have been involved in dance music pretty much their whole lives, starting early as studio run arounds for top engineers and producers constantly learning from hands on experience. The guys met in 99′ originating from different musical backgrounds. This brought new ideas and philosophies to the table and helped distinguish the Pig&Dan sound. They were supported in the early days by the likes of Deep Dish, Laurent Garnier, and Sander Kleinenberg. As their sound developed to more recent years you will find such Techno heavyweights as Sven Vath, Loco Dice, and Mandy playing their tracks all over the world.
When we met them both at Fabric for the party WYS! earlier this year they were so down to earth, humble, and reserved, then they started playing… the switch was FLIPPED as they tore through the crowd that night!!
The track chosen today is a remix for Remy Unger called ‘Walk The Dog’ out now on Remy’s Fone Audio!
Guys be sure to check out our boy Joop Junior‘s remix as well, Joop is on fire at the moment with a host of remixes and originals coming out on HUGE labels! Check it out below.

You may have gathered that at NOYZ we love groove, bass, drums, clever vocals and just crazy shit in general and this track from Nick Olivetti delivers all of those in abundance. Nick is a fantastic producer and he has really mastered the art of keeping things simple and really focusing on a tracks groove. This is very evident when you listen to one of his tracks as its impossible to sit still! Along with the solid grooves that he provides you get a very crisp and defined sound that just sounds awesome on a big sound system.
This track titled “Olympia” is released on Trapez. Trapez have a habit of releasing amazing groove based records like this that are made for the dance floor, we always look forward to the new releases on the label and you should take a closer look at their back catalogue as it is full of gems like this one from Nick!
Also make sure to check out the other track on the E.P titled “Dr Strangelove” and the excellent remix of Olympia by Will Monotone.

Skylar Taugher, also known to many Techno fans as the infamous SHADED!!
At one point he was one half of the Techno duo SHDWPLY before deciding to go alone to explore and get lost in his own electronic abyss. With a punk-rock edge to the way he performs, dresses, and produces, SHADED warrants the attention of the new breed of Techno listener, one that isn’t so fully immersed into a typical genre. Just like the man himself, those listeners can come from any musical background and still appreciate the rawness in both SHADED’s production and performance. This rawness has seen the Californian snapped up to become part of Dubfire‘s Sci+Tec team!!
‘Music, fine art, and fashion fuel his creativity’. Skylar’s father was a musician and producer of Classic Rock, Skylar himself plays the guitar and has always understood how funk can be infused with new sounds to create a blend that can rip any dance floor apart. As Skylar says himself about his alias…
“SHADED will represent my past, and encapsulate the feelings that created all the jams thus far, but at the same time, it will be my outlet to completely express my creative process…”
The track we are supplying you with is out today on Dubfire‘s Sci+Tec. The E.P is called ‘Be My Binge‘, make sure to check out the other track ‘Lick Tease‘ as they are both killers. I chose this track because for me it shows what SHADED does best, his patented synths and minimal atmospheres underneath ‘punk-funk’ drums!! Enjoy!!
